EDITOR

About Me
I'm Lola, a film editor based in Los Angeles, originally from the small southwestern town of Durango, CO. I proudly attend the University of Southern California, working to earn a BFA in Film and Television Production by May 2024. Recently, I spent a semester studying experimental film at the Met Film School-Berlin.
I've had the pleasure of working as an assistant editor at The Mighty Dutch on feature-length projects that have appeared on the Lifetime Channel. Most recently, I co-edited a 25-minute documentary produced by 44 Blue and SnapChat Originals. Although very different from the iconic realm of romantic made-for-tv-movies, I typically lean into abstract, inventive editing when working creatively.
This includes my recent directorial debut BRONCO (2022), investigating news stories from my hometown and the larger systemic issues in America that caused them, as well as i'm not there yet (2023) which explores the Internet as a liminal space. I attribute my love of creating emotion through movement to my extensive background in dance and continually seek out opportunities to further refine this skill in the editing room.
